The Renaissance Allentown Hotel is scheduled to open in January 2015. The ten-story hotel will rise above the arena on Seventh St., with preserved sections of the historic Dime Bank as its entrance and lobby. Designed to be a place where simple delights become memorable moments, and where distinctive style flirts with touches of whimsy, where unparalleled service and uncommon sophistication always provide a unique experience. The approximately 145,000-square-foot full-service hotel will include:

  • 170 guest rooms
  • Two attached entryways to the PPL Center arena, home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL hockey team

Creating a safe and welcoming environment where people can live, work and play is our highest priority. Abundant monitored parking is available for the tenants and visitors of all City Center Lehigh Valley and the PPL Center. Every City Center Building has either attached or adjacent parking facilities, and valet parking is available throughout the district in the evenings and during PPL Center main events.

The Hamilton District Main Street Program provides a clearinghouse for daily and event parking information.

Park Inc. provides downtown Allentown valet parking during every day from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. at its restaurant and retail locations and 24 hours per day at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel.  Through this service, drivers will be able to drop off a vehicle at any kiosk and pick it up later at the same kiosk or one of the others, making it convenient for people to visit multiple locations downtown. Drivers pay just five dollars per vehicle, or 20 dollars per vehicle on PPL Center event nights, if they have their parking validated by one of the program’s participating businesses. Without a validation, drivers pay a higher fee to valet-park a vehicle. Park Inc has kiosks near three participating businesses:

•    The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar, 645 W. Hamilton Street
•    Roar Social House, 732 W. Hamilton Street
•    Cosmopolitan, 22 N. Sixth Street

Kiosks will be added in front of the Renaissance Allentown Hotel at 12 N. Seventh Street when it opens this coming January, and in front of the Federal Grill at 536 E. Hamilton Street when it reopens at a later time.
